A major legal and policy reform to promote some from of mandatory corporate social responsibility(CSR) was initiated through the companies Act ,2013 path breaking it had the potential to transform the relation ship between business and society. Supreme court asks Parliament to bring in special law against lynching

SC asks Parliament to bring in special law against lynching. In recent few month the mob lynching becaming very comman and it's a very serious for our society. In present india, we are talking about skill and smart india and same time hearing case of mob lynching on regularly basis it is not good for any conutry for long A three-judge Bench led by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra held that it was the duty of the State to protect citizens and ensure that the "pluralistic social fabric" of the country holds against mob violence. Supreme court said  it is  "horrendous acts of mobocracy", and asked Parliament to pass law establishing lynching as a separate offence with punishment.. The judgment came in a contempt petition filed by activist Tehseen Poonawalla. It said that despite the Supreme Court order to the States to prevent lynchings and violence by cow vigilantes, the crime continued with impunity.

NEET(National eligibility entrance test) will be conducted twice in a year

Till now neet is only conducted only once in year but now neet aspirant got two chance in one to qualify medical entrance test. Till now, the NEET exams were conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) but the government has now decided that they will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. The same was confirmed by Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar earlier in June. Making the announcement, Javadekar had also said that students could appear for NEET twice a year and the best score would be considered for admission. He said that the tests would be conducted in February and May every year. "The exams will be more secure and at par with international norms. There will be no issues of leakage and it would be more student friendly, open, scientific and a leak-proof system," the Union HRD Minister had told reporters. Kashmir’s IAS officer faces disciplinary action The government of India on Tuesday has asked the Jammu and Kashmir government to initiate departmental action against IAS officer Shah Faesal for what it said violating the All India Services (conduct rules) through a tweet. According to an order “the general administration department of Jammu and Kashmir government said Faesal, who is currently on study leave outside India, has “allegedly failed to maintain absolute honesty and integrity in the discharge of your official duty and thus acted in a manner unbecoming of a public servant”.

This move is aimed at keeping tracks defecation free and is an environment-friendly step. As part of Project Utkrisht, Operation Swarn and other initiatives of Indian Railways, toilets in almost the entire fleet of passenger coaches will get a facelift.
